Description | composition
Soy Hull Pellets are a byproduct of soybean processing, made from the outer coating of the soybean seed. These hulls are ground and compressed into uniform pellets, creating a palatable, dust-free fiber source that’s rich in digestible fiber and moderate in energy. Unlike many fibrous ingredients, soy hulls are low in lignin, making them more readily fermentable in the rumen. These pellets are often used to replace part of the grain or forage portion of rations, particularly in dairy and beef cattle diets. They help improve rumen function, reduce acidosis risk, and provide energy without the rapid starch fermentation seen in cereal grains. Soy Hull Pellets are easy to handle, store, and blend into total mixed rations (TMR) or grain mixes.
