Storage & shelf life

Recommended conditions

• Moisture: Maintain at 12%; levels > 15–18% increase mold risk, while > 20–25% pose heating and spontaneous combustion hazards.
• Environment: Store in a covered, dry, and well-ventilated area, protected from rain and direct sunlight to prevent weathering.
• Handling: Store directly on a clean, level floor inside covered warehouses.
• Stacking: Limit stack height to 6–8 bales on level flooring to ensure safety and stack balance
• Shelf life: 6–12 months under proper storage conditions (or longer in controlled environments).
